Annapurna Mandala Trail XIII 2013 (from 19th April to 6th May 2013)
This 13rd edition of the Annapurna Mandala Trail, from 19th April to 6th May 2013 will take place one a new way, from the North Annapurna Base Camp (4.190 m) – Base Camp of the French expedition in 1950 – to the South Annapurna Base Camp (4.130 m), with a passage to the Dhaulagiri base Camp (4.700 m).
This 2013 AMT will count 9 stages (250 km, +12.500 m et -12.500 m). Before the race, a connection walking of 3 days (80 km, + 2500 m, – 800 m) will allow to join the Annapurna Base Camp, start of the 2013 race.
The race will be preceded by three stages on the march of connection (80 km, + on 2500 m, – 800 m) to join the Base camp of Annapurna, where will be given the departure of the AMT on 2013. This connection walking will serve, also, as phase of acclimatization. There will be also two stages of connection (60 km, – 3.500, + 500 m) to reach the ABC the South with Naya Pul, at the end of stay.
The AMT 2013 route will cross Thapa Pass (5.260 m), French Pass (5.360 m) and will pass by Hidden Valley.
The price of the AMT 2013 is estimated at 2.900 Euros. It includes the race registration, logistical costs in Nepal (domestic flights, bus, accommodations & restoration(breakfast, dinner)) and the international flights (G/B France-Nepal).
Note: This price can be brought to increase or to decrease according to the exchange rate Euro / dollar.
